About us!

We are an independent charity which is managed by a voluntary committee of parents and relatives, offering affordable full day care provision for children aged 2-11 years in the local community and After school care for Ysgol Sant Dunawd.

We are situated in a large and bright classroom, within the school of Ysgol Sant Dunawd, with our own separate entrance, kitchen, toilets and outside space.

Whilst English is spoken as the first language within the setting, children are introduced to the Welsh language through songs, numbers, colours, table manners and stories.

We offer funded early Education as well as the free 30 hours childcare offer for wales for eligible children

The number of children who can attend Bangor on Dee Childcare is limited by CIW regulations governing adult / child ratios and by the terms of registration of the service. Bangor on Dee childcare is registered to accommodate up to 40 children. Adult to child ratios will always be adhered to (1:4 for 2 year olds and 1:8 for 3-4 year olds and 1-8 for 4-11 year olds.).
